Beef patties are easy to make and the delicious flavor can be varied by adding different vegetables like red peppers or mushrooms. They are versatile and can be served in numerous ways, together with french fries, with buns, or even with some rice and tomato sauce. Try them with my cabbage and tomato slaw too for a really healthy and delicious meal.

Beef patties are easy to make and the delicious flavor can be varied by adding different vegetables like red peppers or mushrooms. Place the minced beef and the chopped onions in a bowl with the olive oil and mix well. Season well and form around 8 small patties.

Heat the remaining oil on a nonstick pan, then add the patties and cook on both sides until they turn brown. Sprinkle about 1tbsp of water and add some seasoning.

Cover the patties with the sliced onions and peppers and sprinkle another 1tbsp of water and some seasoning. Lower the heat to very low and braise for 20 mins.

When the onions appear to turn golden brown, remove the pan from the heat.

Serve with some onions and peppers
